• You may have noticed the purple circles appearing when selecting a pickup location. These are spots where it will be easier for you and your captain to find each other.
• Some of our ride types are only available during certain hours of the day. Previously we would hide the ride types when they were unavailable but now they will remain visible but you will only be allowed to do later bookings.

• No more awkward goodbyes: you can now easily end the chat with Careem Care once your issue is resolved, and we’ll notify you if our team sent you a message while you’re outside the app.

• We can assure you our bugs are not fixed with ramen noodles.

• Overpaid or underpaid? We now show you how much will be added or taken from your Careem PAY account.

• Your credit card is now autoselected as fallback payment method on a km package, to prevent those awkward moments where you unexpectedly have to pay cash.

Ramadan Careem!
The new moon brings with it a whole new UI update for Careem. We made our entire booking flow look better, and work better:
• Easily add a dropoff location to make your whole ride experience smoother
• Your fare estimate is now clearly visible on the same screen
• Add pickup details so your Captain knows where to meet you
• Switch to a different payment method without leaving the booking screen
